Series of earthquakes continue in Serbia: Latest one hits Bor
Another earthquake happened in Serbia today. The Seismological Survey of Serbia registered it in Bor, in the east of the country, at 10:36 am.
It was a magnitude 1.7 tremor.
Serbia has been affected by earthquakes since the last weekend. First, two happened in Mladenovac, then three hit Kragujevac, and yesterday one was registered in Blazevo.
As seismologist Slavica Radovanovic explained for Telegraf.rs this is proof that the ground is active, that seismic energy has accumulated in the region of Sumadija, and that we can expect a stronger shock in that area in the next 10 years.
