"My son was wrong and he will answer for it": Father of Kraljevo fight participant speaks

One brutal blow to the head dealt with a hand was enough for the teenager to stumble and fall onto the concrete. A video of the violence, which, as social networks' users are saying, was filmed in Kraljevo, shows an attack on a minor. In addition to the two who stand closest to the boy under attack, at least two others are nearby.

The father of the young man who is the culprit of the incident wrote on Facebook, "I understand the anger and rage of the citizens, we are a decent family, but my son was wrong and will answer for it," reports the Krug portal.

"My dear FB friends, buddies... acquaintances and strangers... I want to react publicly like this as a conscientious parent," is the beginning of a message posted in a Facebook group by the father of the minor who injured another during the incident.

The young man's father confirmed that he understood the anger and rage of the citizens, with whom, as he said on the social network, he completely agrees:

"I did not leave the situation to be covered up, as they say... but (I put) the kid in the car and (took him) straight to the police... I am not an inspector or a director... ((I'm) an ordinary resident of this city... All children are equal... so are mine... He was wrong and therefore will answer the way the competent authorities assess he should... Let me inform you... I also visited the father of the injured boy as a civilized person and offered a hand of support... Compassion... Help, whatever it is... I am not defending myself... Nor am I running away from responsibility..."

"We did not raise our child to be this way... That is why I do not want any cover-ups. Things of whatever heavy nature are not solved by violence. I see that many are poorly informed... it is foolish to draw conclusions in advance. There are sanctions for everyone. Again, I repeat... we voluntarily went to the police and reported the incident... Then the participants and accomplices were summoned.

I don't want things like this to happen. That is why there is the law that I will not overlook, whatever the sanctions and penalties may be - let it be a lesson for everyone's child and for parents.

Now, the most important thing is that the injured boy is well, and everything else is in the hands of the authorities," he concluded.
