Covid passes won't be required only in hospitality establishments: They will be needed here as well
Covid passes, which will be mandatory in all hospitality establishments from Saturday at 10 pm, will be extended to other facilities, and will not be needed only for entering pharmacies and grocery stores, Telegraf.rs has learned from the Crisis HQ.
According to our source, it was not realistic to introduce them for all places now and for them to be required at any time during the day, but there is a plan to implement them in all other places, as well as to be required throughout the day.
According to our interlocutor, it takes time, that is, ten or more days to see if and to what extent the introduction of Covid passes, that will be obligatory from 10 pm in hospitality establishments, gives results.
"As has been said before, they will (later) be required for shopping centers and all other places, except pharmacies and grocery stores. That means that they will be needed for concerts, theaters, and probably for sports events as well," said our source from the Crisis HQ.
At last, the decision to introduce Covid passes in Serbia was made yesterday during the meeting of the Crisis HQ, a task force set up to combat the coronavirus epidemic in Serbia.
As Prime Minister Ana Brnabic announced after the HQ's session on Wednesday, Covid passes are not just about vaccines.
"A valid certificate is a confirmation of receiving the second dose of the vaccine (no longer than 7 months ago), or of the third dose. A negative PCR test, not older than 72 hours, is another mandatory requirement if you want to sit indoors (in restaurants and cafes) after 22 hours. Also, an antigen test, which must not be older than 48 hours, or if you had Covid and recovered in the last 7 months," stated Brnabic.
