16-year-old boy dies in Krusevac: He was coronavirus positive and in self-isolation

A boy, 16, from Krusevac died on Tuesday while in isolation in his home, it has been confirmed for Telegraf.rs. According to the mother of the deceased student, he had tested positive for coronavirus.

The Institute of Public Health in Krusevac told Telegraf.rs that the boy was positive for coronavirus. He took a PCR test, and on October 16, received a positive result.

In Krusevac, coronavirus has been confirmed in 479 students since the beginning of the school year.

Since mid-September, when the Krusevac General Hospital entered the Covid system, 12 children have received hospital treatment.

Those with a more serious form of the disease are sent to the University Clinical Center in Nis.
