Serbian Gendarmerie shows its power: "Terrorism is a global threat, we must be prepared"
Minister of the Interior Aleksandar Vulin today attended the final drill in Oresac, during which members of the Serbian Gendarmerie and members of the Special Anti-Terrorist Unit of the Serb Republic (RS), participants in specialist training courses for crew members and instructors for training armored combat vehicle crew members demonstrated their skills, capabilities and knowledge acquired during the training.
"Terrorism is a global threat and we must be ready to fight it. That is why the process of joint training is important and necessary. The security of the Serb Republic is as important to the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Serbia as the security of Serbia.
As long as Aleksandar Vucic leads Serbia, the Serb Republic can be calm and sure that it will be guarded and preserved and that it will be helped in every way, diplomatically, security-wise and economically, in accordance with the Dayton Agreement and the agreement on special and parallel ties," the interior minister said after the drill in Oresac ended.
"The Serb Republic is a foreign policy priority of Serbia, and caring for Serbs outside the borders of Serbia is the duty of every representative of the Serbian government. I am satisfied with the persistence and commitment of the members of the Gendarmerie of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Serbia and the Special Anti-Terrorist Unit of the Serb Republic.
Their professionalism, but also the high level of patriotism are a guarantee that every security challenge will be overcome, and the property and lives of the citizens of Serbia and the Serb Republic will be preserved," said the minister of Internal Affairs, Aleksandar Vulin.
