Free visit to fortresses, museums and zoos today and tomorrow: Serbia celebrates World Tourism Day

On the occasion of World Tourism Day, which is marked on September 27, citizens will be able to visit more than 80 tourist attractions for free today and tomorrow.

The list of sites is published on the website of the Ministry of Trade, Tourism and Telecommunications, and contains, among others, six archeological sites, several fortresses such as Ram, Smederevo, Belgrade, Golubac...

There will also be free entrance o several museums, including the National Museum in Belgrade, the Ethnographic Museum, the Museum of Science and Technology, the Museum of the City of Belgrade, the Museum of Contemporary Art, and the Museum of Theater Arts.

Visitors will be able to tour, free of charge today and tomorrowm also a number of people's, local and city museums across Serbia, caves, and gondolas.

Three zoos will open their doors to citizens, in Belgrade, Bor and Jagodina, and the list of attractions that will be free to enter includes the Avala Tower, Mecavnik-Drvengrad, as well as a ride on the train on the Sargan Eight (Sarganska Osmica) line.

On September 27 and 28, citizens will be able to visit a tourist gem of the Zlatibor District, Stopica Cave, which has been receiving a record number of visits from year to year.
