In the meantime, the situation at the Brnjak (administrative line crossing between Kosovo and central Serbia) has become extremely tense, reports Kosovo Online. The incident happened when members of a Kosovo police special unit tried to forcibly pull a driver out of a car with "KM" lincese plates.

They would have succeeded if the a KFOR patrol, which was there at the time, had not intervened.

According to unconfirmed information, the police demanded that a citizen of Serb nationality get out of his car and remove the KM license plates, which he refused to do, so they started to pull him out of the vehicle

Who knows how everything would have ended if the KFOR members had not come and diffused the situation, the Serbs who were protesting also gathered, and the driver managed to get to safety.

The situation at this moment is still very tense, because members of the special Kosovo police unit are trying to force all drivers with Serbian license plates to take them off.

On the first day of the protest, the Kosovo police fired several tear gas cartridges at the Serbs gathered at Brnjak.
