Top figures of Serbian and European basketball came to the funeral of legendary coach Dusan Duda Ivkovic to bit him their last farewell. Family members, friends and admirers of one of the best Serbian and international basketball experts gathered at the New Cemetery in Belgrade to see off the legendary Duda to his eternal resting place.

There were a lot of greats at the New Cemetery today, a lot of tears, a lot of sadness, but at the same time, the number of people who showed up for Duda's funeral speaks best to what a kind of a person and the sport's great he was.

Among the big names were Zeljko Obradovic, Duda Ivkovic's best man, Vlade Divac, Predrag Danilovic, Zarko Paspalj, Dimitrios Itoudis, Vassilis Spanoulis, Jure Zdovc, as well as the last generation of Serbian basketball players that Duda led as their head coach, which included Novica Velickovic, Kosta Perovic, Dusko Savanovic, Stefan Markovic, Nenad Krstic...

The President of the Basketball Association of Montenegro Nikola Pekovic and the first man of Macedonian basketball Pero Antic were also present.

The farewell speech was given by Duda's friend, actor Goran Sultanovic, while the coffin was carried by Zeljko Obradovic, Vlade Divac, Dino Radja, Predrag Danilovic, Zarko Paspalj and Jure Zdovc, who was especially inconsolable and cried.
