Serbian embassy in London bids farewell to "Boycie": "Rest in peace, dearest friend"
The Serbian embassy in London announced last night that Serbia will remember English actor John Challis, best known for his role as Boycie in the cult sitcom "Only Fools and Horses," who passed away on Sunday at the age of 80.
"Rest in peace, dearest friend. Boycie, you will always be in our hearts. Serbia will remember you," the embassy posted on Twitter, along with a photo of the later actor.
Earlier in the day, Challis' family announced that he had passed away peacefully in his sleep, after a long battle with cancer.

Also on Sunday, Deputy Mayor of Belgrade Goran Vesic said that a decision is expected to be made next week that will posthumously grant Challis Serbia's citizenship.
"In the end, it turned out to be his last wish," said Vesic.
