Covid situation in Nis reminiscent of November and December: Another Covid clinic opened

Because of the constant growth in the number of patients in Nis, as of today, another clinic is back in the Covid system. It is the one in the Cair neighborhood.

The director of the Healthcare Center, Milorad Jerkan, says that the situation is bad and reminiscent of last November and December.

"It's even worse because we have a lot youths among the sick people. The Delta virus is spreading at an alarming rate. We have allowed all gatherings and I think that the proposals of the Ministry of Health should be supported and, above all, that care should be taken about health first and then about the economy," Dr. Jerkan stressed.

The biggest problem, he said, is insufficient vaccination and the fact that young people do not believe in the vaccine, while the virus spreads the most precisely among them.
