Kon on Covid conspiracies: They say I have some chips, that I'm in Belgrade Waterfront, nonsense

Epidemiologist Predrag Kon told a morning TV show today that coronavirus conspiracy theories that are circulating on social networks and in certain media "have nothing to do with the truth."

Kon, who is also a member of the Crisis HQ dealing with the coronavirus epidemic, told TV Pink that such stories are being spread by "people who ignore everything that happened in Covid hospitals", Beta reports.

Regarding the refusal of some medical workers to get vaccinated against coronavirus and petitions against vaccination, Kon said that he "calls on those people to, as doctors, reassess their stance."

Dr. Kon also mentioned that some people believe, when it comes to vaccines against Covid, that it they are a worldwide conspiracy designed as a money grab.

Dr. Kon also revealed what he personally heard about stories about him circulating in the city.

"They write that I have some chips, that I am in Belgrade Waterfront and that I was given (an apartment) there which is complete nonsense... That can be funny to me, to my whole family and my friends who know how modestly I live..."

"That is complete nonsense... But if such a lie is repeated 100 times on social networks, then such a lie becomes the truth," said the doctor.
