Last night, members of the traffic police excluded a 36-year-old driver of a Golf car with German registration plates from traffic, due to aggressive driving and driving under the influence of narcotics.

He is charged with ignoring the traffic police patrol five minutes after midnight at the intersection of Belgrade's Vojvode Stepe and Sava Maskovica streets, who signaled him to stop the car. Instead he continued driving and passing through three red light lights in an attempt to escape the police.

With a quick reaction, the police stopped him in Zemljoradnicka Street, where it was established that he was driving without a driver's license, while a drug test showed that he was positive for cocaine. Also, the checks on his 43-year-old passenger established that a warrant had been issued for him.

The police detained the driver and the passenger for further procedure.
