These three countries have invest the most in Bosnia and Herzegovina: Serbia is among them

The inflow of foreign direct investments in Bosnia and Herzegovina (BiH) was 678.2 million KM (BiH currency) or 346.7 million euros in 2020, according to data from the Central Bank of BiH.

Most investments last year came from Croatia, 149.4 million KM (abour 76.4 million euros) and Serbia, 135.3 million KM (about 69.2 million euros).

Observed by activity, most investments were made in the field of financial services, 157 million KM (80.3 million euros), in wholesales - 93.9 million KM (47.4 million euros), and electricity production - 88.6 million KM (.45.3 million euros).

At the end of 2020, the balance of foreign direct investments in BiH was around 8.1 billion euros. This amount is the result of investments made in previous years, as well as operations of foreign-owned companies.

The largest amount of the total balance of foreign direct investments came from Austria, 2.78 billion KM or 1.4 billion euros.

Croatia follows with 2.42 billion KM (1.2 billion euros) and then Serbia with 2.19 billion KM (1.1 billion euros).
