Montenegro mystery: Young woman and teen commit suicide after posting the same message on Instagram
To make the situation even more bizarre, these two cases seem to be connected in some way, because both the young woman and the teenager left the same message on their social media accounts.
20-year-old M.G. jumped from the bridge on the Tara on July 27, around 8 pm, to a certain death. A day later, her body was found on the banks of the river, near the Monastery of the Holy Archangel Michael.
Only 20 days later, 13-year-old V.K. jumped over the protective fence and into the abyss from a height of about 180 meters, in front of numerous tourists who visit this bridge every day.
According to local media, just an hour before the tragedy, the boy's mother reported him missing to the Pljevlja Security Center.
The boy's body was found a day later in the river, near the bridge.
The mystery of the suicides committed by the two young people who both lived in the vicinity of the town, and took their own lives in the same way and in the same place, only begins there.
Namely, both M.G. and V.K. had posted the same message on their Instagram account, reading "Safe place," folowed by six rainbow-colored heart emojis. The posts were typed in the same font, the order of hearts and the colors is identical, reports Blic.
Both Instagram accounts are now locked, and the bizarre facts don't stop there either - they both followed almost an identical number of people - the boy 510, and the young woman 509. And the number of people following them was identical - 538 each.
A claim is now circulating on the internet that there is symbolism behind the number of their followers, 538 - that this is the so-called "angel number."
According to the data that can be found online many believe that 538 is a number that "summons the angels" and helps people to overcome difficulties.
The "Safe Place" logo of two organizations
"Safe Place" is a national program for young people up to 21 years of age who need some kind of help or support.
There is also an organization under the same name that deals with the rights of LGBTQ people and the phrase "Safe Place" is written on their rainbow-colored logo - in almost the same order of colors as the heart emojis that the two suicide victims posted on Instagram.
The investigation into the suicides of the two young people is still ongoing Montenegro.
