Nikola from Indjija reached Ostrog on foot: He covered the 426-kilometer trek in record 6 days
Nikola Bahtijarevic from Inđija achieved a great feat by walking 426 kilometers in just six days, to reach the Ostrog Monastery in Montenegro.
He set off for Ostrog on August 2, the trip lasted a full six days, and Nikola covered more than 70 kilometers a day, ritamindjije.rs is reporting.
The aggravating circumstance was that he was walking alone and that this is currently one of the warmest periods in the last 50 years.
He had problems with pain in his joints, but, guided by faith, he successfully completed the journey.
