Serbian water polo team take Olympic gold, Vucic tells them, "Whole country is proud of you"

President of Serbia Aleksandar Vucic congratulated our water polo players on winning the gold medal at the Olympic Games in Tokyo.

Serbia's national water polo team defended the Olympic gold from Rio, as it defeated Greece in the final of the Games in Tokyo with 13-10 over the weekend-

Soon, the president also posted on Instagram, and in addition to congratulating our successful athletes, announced he would make an effort to provide them with good conditions and rewards.

"With congratulations to our athletes, the golden water polo players, Milica, Jovana, our bronze volleyball players, with congratulations to all those who brought us medals, but also to those who did not and fought with all their hearts for our Serbia, I want to say that they these are the most successful Olympic Games and the greatest sporting success of all time that Serbia has achieved. But, not to flaunt their successes, our job was just to provide them with good conditions, to provide them with decent rewards, I want to point out something that this is very important and why there will be more investments in sports in the future," said Vucic.
