"Send help to brothers"! Serbs rallying to help Greeks, but there are also negative reactions

Fires are currently raging in Greece as well, and on Facebook groups, Serbs have begun to unite to help them.

"As a Serb, I am looking for and appealing to the Serbian government to send help to Greece in the fight against fires!," it says on the HellaSerbia Facebook group.

An appeal was also made on the Grcka Info group.

"Can we organize and help people in Greece in any way in connection with these terrible fires?!," a member asked.

People immediately agreed in the comments that the Greeks, whom they refer to as our brothers, Orthodox Christians, should be helped. The Greeks did not hide their enthusiasm, immediately thanking those who made the appeal.

Of course, there were also those who said that we ourselves get help from the Russians, but also those who were not serious, saying "they give us accommodation - we work for them."

Fires are currently burning in several locations in Greece... The situation is the most critical in Evia and in the suburbs of Athens, and the army has been deployed in putting out the fires.

Serbian firefighters and members of the Helicopter Unit of the police, in addition to extinguishing fires in our country, have already helped in the Serb Republic and are currently in North Macedonia.
