Vucic says goodbye to Lazanski: Serbia lost a man who loved our country more than anything

President of Serbia Aleksandar Vucic has offered his condolences to the family of Miroslav Lazanski, who passed away as a result of a heart attack in Belgrade.

"I express my deepest condolences to the family of Miroslav Lazanski and to all the people who sincerely loved this great man.

Serbia has lost a great man, its ambassador to the Russian Federation, one of the best experts on geopolitical circumstances, military strategy and tactics, an exceptional journalist and publicist and, above all, a good man. A man who loved Serbia more than anything. Thank you for everything you have done for your country, glory eternal," wrote Vucic.

Selakovic: Goodbye, dear ambassador

Serbian Foreign Minister Nikola Selakovic said goodbye to Serbian Ambassador to Russia Miroslav Lazanski, who passed away in Belgrade last night.

"Goodbye, dear ambassador, dear friend and great Serbian," Selakovi wrote on Instagram.

Radovan Viskovic: He will be remembered as a great man

Reacting to the death of Ambassador of Serbia to the Russian Federation, Miroslav Lazanski, Serb Republic (RS) Prime Minister Radovan Viskovic offered his condolences to the Lazanski family, the president of the Republic of Serbia Aleksandar Vucic, and Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Serbia Nikola Selakovic.

"I received the news of the sudden death of Ambassador Miroslav Lazanski with great sadness. The sudden departure of Miroslav Lazanski represents a loss not only for his family and friends, but also for Serbian diplomacy and the entire Serbdom. Miroslav Lazanski will be remembered as a great man, a diplomat, excellent military analyst and journalist, who left a deep and indelible mark on the public and social life of Serbia with his life's work."
