SNS Vice President Milos Vucevic and Movement of Socialists MP Djordje Komlenski have filed a criminal complaint today with the Republic Public Prosecutor's Office against President Aleksandar Vucic and Interior Minister Aleksandar Vulin over, as they said, media allegations linking the state leadership with organized crime.

Vucevic told reporters in front of the Prosecutor's Office that they filed the criminal complaint through their legal representative, in which they listed the allegations that have been constantly appearing in the media in recent days, but also those made by representatives of some opposition parties, who linked Vucic and Vulin to the Belivuk-Miljkovic criminal group.

He said that in the criminal complaint, they ask the prosecution to assess whether it is competent to handle this case and who is, to establish all the facts and for the Serbian public to get an answer, that is, the truth.

"Without this complaint, i.e. without initiating this complaint, everything comes down to the possibility of speculation, different interpretations, claims or what our lawyer calls 'mcp - media criminal procedure'," said Vucevic.

He told reporters that KRIK, BIRN, N1, and a statement from the Freedom and Justice Party were mentioned in the criminal complaint.

Vucevic added that he expects the prosecution to act on the filed criminal complaint, and as he said, through his legal representative, he and Komlenski want to be active in the process as much as the law permits.

According to some media who claim to have seen the transcript of his questioning at the prosecution, Veljko Belivuk, the leader of a criminal group suspected of five brutal murders, torture and drug dealing, spoke about his alleged relationship with Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic.

He said at the time that Vucic and his associates asked him for a number of services, including making sure there was no chanting against the president at the stands of the Partizan stadium.
