The president of the municipality of Gracanica, Srdjan Popovic, says that it is inadmissible that representatives of Albanians and the international community did not react to attacks on Serbs and Serb property in Kosovo and Metohija, which, he added, was demonstrated once again in the case of the burning the flag of the Serbian Orthodox Church in Gracanica.

Popovic says that Albanians think that a young man was arrested in Gazimestan for spreading religious and ethnic hatred, while on the other hand no one is condemning the burning of the flag of the Serbian Orthodox Church, Tanjug reports.

"That shows that we have double standards here, that Serbs are second-class citizens here, and that is not the case only now, but has been for more than two decades," said Popovic.

He pointed out that it is inadmissible that Albanian representatives and the international community are not condemning the burning of the SPC flag, the beating of a boy in Gracanica, robberies targeting Serbs...

"It is inadmissible not to draw anything lessons from that, but to keep silent, and there hasn't been a single condemnation coming from either Albanian representatives or the international community. I don't know how all those people who sit comfortably in their armchairs think that they will live with such things in the future," said Popovic.
