Marijuana lab discovered, 4 arrested: Pots with hemp up to 60 cm tall also found
Members of the Ministry of the Interior (MUP) in Kragujevac, in cooperation with the Security Information Agency and the Criminal Police Directorate, discovered a laboratory for growing marijuana and arrested A.C. (25) from the Topola area, M.S. (40) from Belgrade, I.V. (44) and L. . (25), both from Arandjelovac, on suspicion that they committed the criminal offense of unauthorized production and distribution of narcotics.
In the vicinity of Topola, in the attic of an auxiliary building, the police discovered a laboratory for growing marijuana in artificial conditions, which is suspected to have been installed by A.C. and M.S. together with I.V. who, it is suspected, also mediated their acquaintance.
During the search of the attic, the police found and seized more than four kilograms of marijuana prepared for sale, as well as equipment for growing and producing this drug.
L.J. is charged with buying marijuana from A.C. and then selling it on. The police searched his apartment and found seven pots planted with hemp, between 30 and 60 centimeters tall. Ttwo bags of marijuana were found in A.C.'s house.
The suspects are detained for up to 48 hours and will be brought before the Higher Public Prosecutor's Office in Kragujevac, along with a criminal complaint.
