Ada thug arrested: "Any lowlife who raises their hand to women or children will be punished"

In a swift and efficient action, members of the Ministry of the Interior on Friday arrested N.V., 34, on suspicion that he physically assaulted a woman on Ada Ciganlija in Belgrade.

After the video of the violence appeared on social networks, the police reacted immediately, identified the perpetrator and arrested him. Interior Minister Aleksandar Vulin said that violence will not be tolerated in Serbia.

"There is no place for bullies in our society. Any lowlife who raises their hand to women or children will be found and punished," Minister Vulin stressed and called on victims of violence to immediately report perpetrators to the police.

"Don't wait for acts of violence to repeat, the thugs will not get better of their own accord. Give them to us, we will change them," said Minister Vulin.
