Novi Sad to get a huge amusement park: This is what renderings look like
Italian Gardaland, the largest amusement resort in Italy and one of the largest in Europe, plans to open an amusement park in Novi Sad.
Representatives of Gardaland on Thursday met with Novi Sad Mayor Milos Vucevic.
"We received representatives of Gardaland, the largest amusement park in Italy and one of the largest in Europe. In the company of (actor) Milos Bikovic, they presented a park that should spring up in Novi Sad. Their ideas about developing this exceptional place for fun for the whole family sound very interesting, and the investment would contribute to the strong expansion of the tourist offer not only of our city but of the entire country," Vucevic posted on Instagram.
He said that the Gardaland amusement park in Italy is visited by up to three million people a year, which is best evidence of the perspective of the Novi Sad project.
"We are trying to make Novi Sad an ideal city for a content-rich family life, and we will support any activity that contributes to that," the mayor said.
