Serb family home in Babin Most broken into: 66th incident in Kosovo and Metohija this year
Stanisa Stanojevic's family house in the Serb village of Babin Most in Kosovo and Metohija, which is known as the place where attacks on Serbs occur most frequently, was broken into and robbed yesterday, the Serbian Government's Office for Kosovo and Metohija announced today.
The Stanojevic family informed the Kosovo police about the incident, but, as a statement said, they do not hope that the perpetrators will be apprehended, because they do not trust that institution.
"It is clear that the Serb people south of the Ibar River are under constant oppression by Albanian perpetrators, which is why we expect competent institutions and the international community to immediately stop the wave of violence against the Serb people and their property in Kosovo and Metohija and and to take attacks against Serbs with utmost seriousness, in order to increase their security," the statement said.
The Office reminds that this is the 66th incident since the beginning of the year that happened in Kosovo and Metohija targeting Serbs, their property, churches, health centers, schools...
The Office for Kosovo and Metohija will inform international representatives about the event and is demanding that competent authorities react urgently and bring the perpetrators of this and all other unsolved incidents to justice.
