Well done, Nikola! Americans bow to Jokic, the Serbian is the world's strongest league's the MVP!

There wasn't even a shadow of a doubt: Serbian basketballer Nikola Jokic has been named as the most useful player in the NBA, one of the best informed US journalists and NBA specialists Shams Charania said on Twitter, citing well-informed sources, while official confirmation is still awaited from the league.

Jokic thus became the first Serbian to win the MVP title in the world's strongest league.

How great this success is for both Nikola and Serbian basketball, and historically, is best be seen in the fact that Jokic became the most useful NBA player in an era of all the game's greats like LeBron James, Stephen Curry, Kevin Durant, Giannis Antetokounmpo, Kyrie Irving, Russell Westbrook, Devin Booker, Anthony Davis, Joel Embiid and others.

Jokic achieved the most significant recognition in his career completely deservedly, because, unlike his closest competitors, he played at a constantly high level throughout the season, without missing a match, flirting with "triple-doubles" on average per game.

The Serbian, who plays in the semifinal series of the Western Conference of the NBA against Phoenix  (the Suns lead 1-0), scored 26.4 points, with 10.8 rebounds and 8.3 assists  on average per game, which promoted him to the best player in the league.

Of course, along with all those numbers, Nikola also won over the basketball public and fans, professionals, coaches, teammates and players of opposing teams with a unique style of play, the magic with which he assists, scores, orchestrates the Nuggets game...

Interestingly, Nikola continued the dominance of basketballers from Europe when it comes to MVP awards in the last three seasons, as he succeeded Giannis Antetokounmpo on the throne - who was previously NBA's MVP for two seasons.
