Drivers, be careful: Rockslides on roads leading to Priboj, Prijepolje and Nova Varos

A strong storm followed by heavy rain and thunder triggered landslides in the municipalities of Prijepolje, Priboj and Nova Varos.

The situation is most critical on the road from Bistrica to Priboj, where traffic has slowed down due to the large amount of rocks on the road, RINA reports.

In the town of Druglici, several cubic meters of large and small rocks, soil and vegetation fell onto the road and almost buried one side of it about ten meters in length.

There are also landslides along the main road from Velika Zupa to Brodarevo and further towards the border with Montenegro.

The stretch through the Lim River canyon in Strugovi is especially dangerous, where ricks are falling onto the road almost non-stop, so drivers are advised to drive carefully.
