German companies looking for suppliers from Serbia: Over 50 firms from Europe's biggest economy

This year's regional B2B project will be held online from September 27 until October 15, with the aim of allowing German companies to find manufacturers from sought-after industrial sectors in Serbia and the Western Balkans.

The German-Serbian Chamber of Commerce (AHK Serbia), the representative offices of the German economy in the Western Balkans (AHK), as well as the German Supply Chain Management, Procurement and Logistics Association (BME), are organizing the regional B2B project "German Initiative for Finding Suppliers in Western Balkans Countries," which is being implemented for the seventh year in a row.

Last year, over 300 B2B meetings were held, with participation of 52 Serbian companies.

This year,  the German companies come mainly from the metal processing sector and are interested in the services of casting, forging, stamping and bending products, as well as the plastic and electronics injection molding sector.

The aim of the project is to allow German companies to find manufacturers from sought-after industrial sectors in Serbia and the Western Balkans, while the concept of the project is based on the "B2B - matchmaking" mechanism.

Over 50 German companies have confirmed their participation in the project. Serbian companies that have identified themselves as potential suppliers to some of the German companies involved can apply on the website of the German-Serbian Chamber of Commerce (https://serbien.ahk.de/sr/), where the German companies' profiles and conditions can also be found.

The deadline for applications is June 17, 2021. The number of seats at this event is limited, i.e., only those companies that meet the needs of German companies with their production portfolios will participate in the event.

The event will take place under the auspices of the Ministry of Economy and Energy of the Federal Republic of Germany within the Program for Development of Foreign Markets for Small and Medium Enterprises of the Federal Republic of Germany.
