Plane with 80 Belgian tourists makes emergency landing in Belgrade: Problem occurred over Tuzla
A TUI plane on the Santorini-Brussels route was forced to land today at Belgrade's Nikola Tesla airport because of technical reasons, it has been confirmed for Tanjug by the airport.
The plane landed at 1:50 pm., and 80 passengers and six crew members disembarked safely.
As can be seen on the Flightradar website, the problem with the plane occurred while it was flying close to Tuzla, so it immediately made a turn and headed towards the nearest airport, which was Belgrade.
The passengers are waiting for information about the continuation of the trip to the planned destination, which will be decided by the airline, Nikola Tesla airport's representatives said.
They added that all operational services of the airport reacted in a timely manner, according to planned procedures.
