In a conversation with President of the Albanian National Council in Serbia Ragmi Mustafa, Prime Minister of the Provisional Institutions of Kosovo Albin Kurti accused Belgrade of a "campaign" against Albanians in Presevo, Bujanovac and Medvedja.

Kurti says that he is "closely monitoring" the situation and the position of Albanians in those municipalities, and accused Belgrade of "now doing administratively what it failed to do there with tanks", the Reporteri portal writes.

"The campaign against Albanian inhabitants in the Presevo valley is unacceptable and should be stopped as soon as possible," said Kurti.

Representatives of the Pristina authorities also spoke with Mustafa about the "passive" attitude towards the Albanian population in those predominantly Albanian areas, which, as they assessed, is "especially intensified in Medvedja," Kosovo Online is citing Reporteri.

The article adds that Mustafa thanked Kurti for receiving him and especially for, as stated, the funds that the previous Kosovo government, when he was the prime minister, set aside to help during the pandemic.

Mustafa also presented various projects that Albanian-majority municipalities in southern Serbia plan to implement.

Kurti and Mustafa agreed to "intensify cooperation" in order to improve the position of Albanians in Presevo, Medvedja and Bujanovac, writes the Reporteri portal.
