Mural and message for soldier Ognjen who died: "In that sky too where I'm going, shines my Red Star"

On the initiative of family and friends, a mural dedicated to Ognjen Trajkovic (20), a paratrooper from Vranje who recently passed away, is in the final phase of getting painted in a passage near Novogradnja.

Also, on one of the walls in the yard of the elementary school Radoje Domanović, Red Star fans, of whom Ognjen was one, made a graffiti in his honor.

"In that sky too, where I'm going, shines my Red Star," the fans wrote.

In addition to the mural in the passage near Novogradnja, the plan is to make another one, most likely in one of the streets in the center of Vranje, according to the family. The mural near Novogradnja has not yet been finished, mostly due to weather conditions, the rain and humid air.

The mural is being created by Stefan Stojanovic Sles, an artist from Vranje and Ognjen's friend.

Corporal Ognjen Trajkovic from Vranje died on April 21 around 4:30 pm while performing a parachute jump. He was a paratrooper serving in the 3rd Parachute Unit of the 63rd Parachute Brigade in Nis.
