Latest Covid report ahead of a meeting deciding on holiday measures: 2,138 new cases, 26 more deaths

In the last 24 hours in Serbia, coronavirus was confirmed in 2,138 more people, as 26 more patients died from Covid.

Recommended

13,832 people were tested in this period of time, 15.46 percent of whom were positive.

161 patients are currently on ventilators.

New cases by city: Belgrade 498, Novi Sad 117, Nis 63, Sabac 62, Kragujevac 54, Smederevo 53, Cacak 43, Valjevo 40, Jagodina 37.

The total number of registered cases in the country since the beginning of the epidemic is 685,937.

The total number of deaths is 6,312 and the mortality rate is 0.92%.

A total of 3,814,540 people have been tested in Serbia so far, while the current number of those hospitalized is 4,987.
