Who is Guelor Kanga, and who is Kiaku Kiangana? Documents allegedly forged by Red Star player leaked
A big scandal is shaking African football, and at its center is Guelor Kanga, a Red Star Belgrade footballer, who is accused of falsifying documents!
The Democratic Republic of Congo has accused Gabon of playing against them with a player who is actually from Congo, who played for Gabon with fake papers, and allegedly that player is Guelor Kanga.
They sent an official complaint to the Confederation of African Football, which will pass a verdict on this issue.
Kanga is allegedly accused of falsifying both his citizenship and age, as well as of identity theft.
In Congo, they claim that he was born in Kinshasa on October 5, 1985, as Kiaku Kiaku Kiangana, and that the birth certificate according to which he was born in Oyem, Gabon on September 1, 1990, is fake.
Documents allegedly proving that Kanga was born in Kinshasa in 1985 also appeared on social networks.
If the fraud is proven, Gabon could be expelled from the African Cup of Nations, to which they have already qualified, but they could also be suspended for at least one more cycle of qualifications.
