"Serbian Igor" found guilty in Spain for triple murder: Life in prison sought for him

"Serbian Igor," a man originally from Serbia, also known under the pseudonyms Igor Vaclavic, Igor Rus, whose actual name is Norbert Feher, has been found guilty in Spain for commiting triple murder. He killed two policemen and one civilian in that country.

In Italy, he is suspected of killing two people during a robbery.

A court in the Spanish city of Teruel found Feher guilty of the triple murder committed in 2017 in the province of Aragon, AFP said, reports Sputnik.

The court will sentence him next week, and the prosecution is asking for life in prison.

In January last year, Feher was sentenced to 21 years in prison for attempted double murder. He committed that crime just before his arrest in 2017.

Feher has had a series of false identities. He would introduce himself as a former military special agent or spy.

He is considered to be a very dangerous person.

In prison, he attacked two guards with a sharp object. During the trial, he was in a special "glass cage" - a box made of impenetrable plexiglas.

He also had three identities, Serbian, Croatian and Italian, and the Spanish and Italian media say that the last two are fake, and that he moved to Italy from Subotica, in northern Serbia, in 2006.

After the indictment for the murders in Italy, Feher fled from that country to Spain. Italy asked Spain to extradite him for the murders, but the Spanish authorities decided to put him on trial there for several crimes, among which are murders, attempted murders, and criminal association.
