"We are investing 18 million euros in capacities for filling and packaging vaccines"
President of Serbia Aleksandar Vucic announced today that the state will invest 18 million euros in capacities for filling and packing vaccines, against the flu, tetanus and vaccines against coronavirus.
"Dear people, together with Prime Minister Ana Brnabic, many ministers, but also with all the people in the field of pharmacy and medicine, we have made several important decisions. The state will invest 18 million euros in capacities for filling and packing vaccines, against flu, tetanus and vaccines against coronavirus. For our Torlak, another 20 million euros, for renovating the space and the facade, we will also arrange parks and access roads. We want to turn Torlak into the largest vaccine factory in Europe," the president stated.
The president also announced that Serbia is entering the process of producing a quadrivalent flu vaccine.
"Great news, the happiest news. As of today, we are initiating the procedure, working on a business plan, and entering the process of producing a quadrivalent flu vaccine. I believe we will finish in a few months. Go forward Torlak, go forward Serbia!," said Vucic.
