Egyptians interested in importing grain and fruit from Serbia, Markovic meets with Governor Hanafi

A delegation headed by United Serbia (JS) leder, MP and President of the Assembly of the City of Jagodina Dragan Markovic Palma, in Hurghada, the capital of the Red Sea region in Egypt, was received by Red Sea Governor General Amr Hanafi n Hurghada, the capital of thi region.

A delegation headed by United Serbia (JS) leder, MP and President of the Assembly of the City of Jagodina Dragan Markovic Palma, is in Hurghada, the capital of the Red Sea region in Egypt, where it was received by Red Sea Governor General Amr Hanafi.

Markovic introduced his host to the members of the medical and political delegation, which is currently visiting in Egypt.

"Our delegation includes 100 doctors and nurses and technicians from 15 clinical centers, hospitals and healthcare centers from Serbia, and they are all front line health workers defending against Covid 19," said Markovic and added that almost 3 million citizens have been vaccinated so far in Serbia with the first dose, and almost half of that number with the second.

"In the last eight years there has been economic security in Serbia, political stability and health security for all citizens, which is also a factor that attracts foreign investors," said Markovic

He conveyed the greetings of the president of Serbia to Governor Hanafi, as well as that with such visits, Serbia wants to further strengthen economic, health, tourist and cultural cooperation.

Markovic congratulated Ramadan to General Amr Hanfi and all Muslims in Egypt and around the world.

Hanafi: We are interested in grain, corn, fruit and meat from Serbia

General Amr Hanafi said that the region of Sharm El Seikh is interested in reaching a brotherly agreement with Jagodina, as Marsa Alam has done.

"I will soon come to Serbia at your invitation with a delegation of businesspeople. We are interested in importing grain, corn, fruit and meat from Serbia," said Hanafi and announced that the Red Sea region will soon vaccinate all hotel employees and all tourist workers.

The Serbian delegation also included Deputy President of the Serbian Parliament Marija Jevdjic from United Serbia and her party colleague and MP Zivota Starcevic, while representing the delegation of doctors was well-known Jagodina surgeon Dr. Valentin Mihajlov, as well as Serbian Ambassador to Egypt Jugoslav Vukadinovic.
