Shocking end to Ronaldo's armband auction: Great victory for toddler Gavrilo in the last seconds!
The campaign to help baby Gavrilo Djurdjevic is succeeding! The bidding to buy the captain's armband of Cristiano Ronaldo, which he threw away last weekend during the Serbia vs Portugal football game in Belgrade in a fit of rage, reached an incredible price of just over 7,500,000 dinars (about 64,000 euros)!
The armband goes to Mozzartbet, who offered 7,500,010 dinars at the last second!
This is great news, considering that some not well-intentioned people started making fake bids and thus rendered this beautiful campaign meaningless for a while.
For that reason, the security team of the Limundo site where the bidding was taking place stopped the auction and deleted hundreds of false offers, introducing also the additional step of verification in order to bid for this item.
Gavrilo Djurdjevic suffers from a rare and severe disease, spinal muscular atrophy, and needs extremely expensive medicine that costs 2.5 million euros.
