Vucic: Security and peace will be preserved in Kosovo and Metohija

Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic says that he believes that security and peace will be preserved in Kosovo and Metohija, while he saw the announcement of the establishment of the largest military base as yet another in a series of attempts by the Albanian side to make moves without bearing any responsibility.

"If the security of our people in Kosovo gets endangered... our people know everything, I do not have to continue," said the president of Serbia.

On fake news about his resignation

The president of Serbia also commented on posts on appearing on the internet today, regarding his alleged resignation as president of the Republic.

"No one has to worry, I did not resign, I did not submit any resignation that's making the rounds on the internet, it's an April Fool's joke. I don't understand the need for someone to joke in that way, but there it is, they are. The answer is that I did not resign and I am still the president of Serbia."
