President of Serbia Aleksandar Vucic announced today that if a new shipment of Chinese vaccines arrives in Serbia on Monday, he will travel to Rudna Glava on Tuesday to get the jab.

"If the doses, the first part, of Chinese vaccines arrive, as they should on Monday, then on Tuesday I will go to Rudna Glava, to Majdanpek (eastern Serbia) to get vaccinated so that they stop falsely declaring me to be an anti-vaxxer," said Vucic, noting that he was also falsely represented when he said he wanted to be the first to receive the vaccine - at the time, it was seen as the president caring only about himself, and ignorning his people.

That, he added, was done by his political opponents, even as they were persuading citizens that we don't even have vaccines.

He now states that they did that with the help of all "objective and impartial media, which these politicians own."

About relations with Montenegro

We will have good relations with citizens and people of Montenegro, and as far as the authorities, we will try, but reciprocal behavior is logical, Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic, who attended the launch of works to build the New Belgrade-Surcin road section, said today.

That was his response when asked about the position of the Montenegrin government, which, as announced a few days ago, cannot withdraw the decision to expel the ambassador of Serbia in Podgorica, Vladimir Bozovic, which was made by the previous Montenegrin government.

"As the saying goes, 'like rejoices in like'," said Vucic.

When asked about the extradition of Svetozar Marovic, former president of the Union of Serbia and Montenegro, Vucic said that Serbia is currently looking for two people from Montenegro, and that this is very important, but that the Marovic case is a question for the judicial authorities.

About inter-party dialogue

Asked about the inter-party dialogue, Vucic said that it is always important, but also that he "sees that they (different parties) can't even talk to each other amongst themselves."

"The funniest thing is when they talk about the impartiality of some media," said Vucic.

According to him, what will be agreed on what is another matter.

"That's within the EU framework. Will I participate - maybe I will," he said.

He added that currently a larger number of parties do not want the presence of factors with elements of foreignness, "so maybe I will participate there - and the party I lead will also participate in this second part of the dialogue."

"I am convinced that it will bring good things, both of them. I don't know how it will end, but I am sure that at least some agreement will be reached between some of those who are talking," he stressed.
