This was less because of the game itself unfortunately, and more because of the unusual move of the captain of the Portugal's team and one of the best football players in the history of this game, Cristiano Ronaldo, who left the pitch near the end, throwing his captain's armband onto the grass of the Red Star stadium.

One of the workers on duty at the stadium then picked up the armband and decided to donate it, and to give the money raised in this way to charity. He launched a humanitarian auction, which could very easily resonate throughout the football world, while all the funds raised through this auction will be given towards medical treatment of six-month-old Gavrilo Djurdjevic from Kragujevac.

Unfortunately, the baby Gavrilo suffers from spinal muscular atrophy, and as much as 2,500,000 euros are necessary for his treatment. The family is unable to collect these funds on their own, so they turned to the public for help in the hope that the amount would be raised.

The captain's armband of Cristiano Ronaldo has been posted for auction on the well-known website Limundo for the next three days, and the donor who bids the highest amount of money will take home a part of football history from the Red Star stadium - of course, only after paying the money into the current account. At the time of writing, the band is estimated at 25,000 dinars, and we hope that this figure will skyrocket.
