32 more people die from Covid in Serbia: 4,769 new daily cases, 236 patients on ventilators

Over the previous 24 hours, coronavirus was confirmed in 4,769 more people in Serbia, as 32 more patients died from Covid during the same period of time.

14,474 more people have been tested, of which 32.95 percent were positive.

There are currently 236 patients on ventilators.

Belgrade once again had the highest number of new daily cases - 1,309. The capital is followed by Nis with 359 and Novi Sad with 243 newly infected people in 24 hours.

New cases per other cities: Kraljevo 150, Kragujevac 118, Pancevo 100, Subotica 95, Vranje 76, Aleksinac 73, Paracin 67, Krusevac 64, Trstenik 61, Valjevo 60, Kikinda 59, Zrenjanin 58, Leskovac 57, Smederevo 48, Cacak 47, Uzice 46, Ivanjica 44, Novi Pazar 40, Bor and Vrbas had 35 each, Arandjelovac and Sabac 34 each, Indjija 31, Sremska Mitrovica and Pozarevac 30 each.

So far, 2,122,377 citizens have been vaccinated in Serbia with the first dose, while 864,906 have received the second.

Covid 19 has so far been registered in 555,897 persons in Serbia, out of a total of 3,277,390 tested. The disease has so far killed 4,966 people.
