President of Serbia Aleksandar Vucic conveyed that during his visit to the UAE, he discussed numerous topics, agriculture, exports, but also new investments by UAE investors in Serbia.

"We spoke about all topics, about agriculture, how we can export more agricultural products, about additional investments, about Belgrade Waterfront," Vucic told RTS.

Asked if Etihad and Air Serbia were mentioned, Vucic said that this topic was also discussed, that there would be new meetings on that issue.

"We raised a whole set of issues, we discussed military-technical cooperation," Vucic added.

When the interviewer remarked that Abu Dhabi has offered to become a hub for exports of our fruits, vegetables, agricultural produce to the entire Gulf, Vucic said this was true, but that we must do our best to do a better job of packing and freezing fruits and vegetables.

"We have better qualit fruit than Romanians, but they pack it better, and they are better at freezing it. Not to mention other problems with livestock, but we are working on it, we will fix it and we will have a good result," said Vucic.

He added that there will be good news around Belgrade Waterfront, because he believes that some of the world's biggest brands will come there.

Vucic stressed that new investments in Serbia have been discussed, as well as that a visit by Khaldoon Al Mubarak will follow next week, in order to talk about that.

"We will talk about creating the best and most exclusive resorts in some other locations, not in cities - in complete wilderness, so that the richest Europeans and everyone else can go there, for us to make money and ensure that people live better," said Vucic.

He added that he spoke for two or three hours with the CEO and managing director of Mubadala Investment, Khaldoon Al Mubarak.

"He is one of the people who runs everything, from Manchester City (football club) to the issue of computer chips and is one of the important links in the system. We talked with him about all important issues and we will continue in terms of new technologies, as well as renewable energy, because they are the champions in that," said Vucic.
