Dr. Ladjevic: Only those going to get vaccinated should be allowed outside, this has to end

The director of the Center for Anesthesiology of the Clinical Center of Serbia and one of the coordinators of Covid hospitals, Nebojsa Ladjevic, said today that this is the moment to cut the situation short, and that only those who want to get vaccinated should be allowed to go outside.

"This is absolutely the moment to cut that flow. It would be best to take a break from getting infected, and in that period ramp up vaccination to the maximum," Ladjevic told TV Prva.

He says those who organize parties should be taken to work as manual labor and transport patients in Covid hospitals.

According to him, the number of newly cases will be large today as well. He also stressed that it is necessary to stop contacts.

Asked if that means that he is also in favor of a complete lockdown like epidemiologists Predrag Kon and Branislav Tiodorovic, Ladjevic said that he agrees with them that, in one way or another, some type of severing of contacts is necessary.
