Vucic about Kokeza: "I don't understand why a man I trusted refused to take the lie detector test"

President of Serbia Aleksandar Vucic spoke about Slavisa Kokeza during a press conference held at the Nikola Tesla Airport in Belgrade.

"I received all the necessary information. I would not like to declare myself in any way except that I don't understand why a man I trusted refused to take the polygraph. Especially because he was told that he could only answer one question, not necessarily ten. I cannot believe that he refused to answer the question whether he participated in the preparation of my assassination, I cannot believe that," he said.

"I've known that man for a long time. As soon as someone doesn't take the polygraph test, it's strange to me, I took it over a stupid thing, to prove to the people that I'm not lying, and as soon as someone doesn't, it's weird to me. But that he heard something or planned something around that is unbelievable to me.

I didn't as much as step on his or on any of their shadows. I never did anything to harm them, neither I nor anyone from my family. I simply don't want to and can't believe it. That is all I can say and let the competent authorities do their job.

How sorry I am about everything and how badly I feel, is also evident in my mood, which is much worse than what I'm showing, not because I'm scared, but because I'm sad," said Vucic.

The president of the Football Federation of Serbia, Slavisa Kokeza, was questioned yesterday as a private citizen by the SBPOK (Service for the Fight against Organized Crime).

After the informative conversation, to which he had been brought in, Kokeza did not wish to make any statements to the media that gathered in front of SBPOK.
