Family tragedy details: Woman calls sister, tells her she'll commit suicide; police find 2 bodies

A family tragedy occurred in Budimska Street in Belgrade, in the municipality of Stari Grad. Namely, this was most likely a case of a murder-suicide.

The tragedy happened in a fourth floor apartment of a building where the bodies of daughter Ana M. (35) and mother Nada M. (66) have been found.

They were found on a bed, without vital signs, in a pool of blood, while a knife was found near their bodies.

It all started last night around 3:30 am when the police received a call by a woman who, as she said, previously received a call from her sister. The sister told her during the telephone conversation that she would commit suicide, Pink writes.

The police came to the scene, tried to open the door, which was locked, while nobody was answering from inside the apartment. When they finally entered, they came across the horrible sight.

The bodies of the mother and the daughter have been taken for autopsies, which will determine the exact cause of death.
