Arrogant driver uses his BMW to destroy football pitch and cause damage worth 1.6 million

The police have found a 24-year-old man suspected of driving his BMW onto the pitch of the FC Djerdap stadium in Kladovo, causing an estimated damage of 1.6 million dinars.

It is suspected that the young man caused this damage last night by first driving his BMW along the athletic track around the pitch, and then going on the grass where made circles at high speed.

Criminal charges will be filed against the suspect on the order of the prosecution. He is suspected of committing the criminal offense of destroying and damaging property belonging to others.

"Someone people are making efforts for days, months, years to keep the pitch in the Fetislam Fortress the best in Eastern Serbia while others play the fool, come over and do this?! The case has been reported to the police, footage from cameras covering the entrance to the Old Town is being reviewed, and we believe that the vandals will be found and punished very soon," FC Djerdap said earlier, while sharing images of the destroyed pitch.
