Migrants fight near Kikinda: 8 young men used knives and shovels? One undergoes emergency surgery
A fight broke out between migrants in a reception center near Kikinda on Sunday afternoon, so the police and ambulance crews had to intervene.
Several ambulances and patrol vehicles were sent to the former administrative building of the Agricultural Company 29 November, the scene of the clash.
Gradski reports that medical assistance was provided to eight migrants in the Kikinda hospital, while knives and shovels were used during the clashes.
The emergency service brought two injured migrants to the Admissions Ward. They had stab wounds in the area of the thighs and head... These are all younger men aged between 20 and 30.
As the portal has learned, two remained in the hospital. One migrant underwent emergency surgery, while the other is treated at the Urology Ward. The others were released after their injuries were taken care of at the Admissions Ward. All injuries suffered by migrants were inflicted with sharp objects.
At the end of October last year at the same reception center, a Moroccan was punched several times by his attackers, while a Bangladeshi citizen was cut on the back with a sharp object.
Incidents like this are not uncommon, media reports say, especially since families no longer live there but only single males. The reception center is a refuge for migrants from Syria, Bangladesh, Morocco, Algeria...
