Lazanski: Russians to arrive this week to check whether Torlak Institute can make Sputnik V vaccine

Serbian Ambassador to Russia Miroslav Lazanski says that a delegation from Russia should arrive in Serbia and the Torlak Institute for Virology, Vaccines and Serums by the end of this week or the beginning of the next, to see the professional and technological capacities of this Serbian institute and whether they will be able to to produce the Russian vaccine against coronavirs, Sputnik V.

Recently, a delegation from Serbia, which included Minister of Innovation Nenad Popovic, representatives of the Ministry of Health and of the Torlak Institute, visited Russia and the institute where Sputnik V is produced in order to transfer production to Serbia.

"A delegation of the Russian institute should come to Torlak by the end of the week or the beginning of the next year to see the capacities of Torlak. An agreement has been reached so that Serbia could produce Sputnik V vaccines, which would make us referent for the entire area of ​​Southeast Europe, which would be very good for our pharmaceutical industry as well," Lazanski told TV Pink.
