Mystery of the frozen bodies found on Mt. Papuk: They were not migrants after all?

The forzen bodies of two men were found in a forest, between the settlements of Slatinski Drenovac and Velika, Croatia's Virovitica-Podravina Police Administration announced today.

It is stated that the bodies were found in two different locations yesterday.

The statement added that information first appeared that these were migrants, while the local 034portal reported, referring to unofficial information, that these were locals living in the area of the Pozega-Slavonia District, in the vicinity of Velika, Tanjug writes.

As 034portal said, it is assumed that the men went hiking on Sunday starting in Velika toward Slatinski Drenovac, but that a strong and cold wind and a blizzard stopped them, the Croatian portal Index is reporting.
