The state will help build a bypass around Zlatibor, as well as the entire infrastructure in order to develop the area as much as possible, and in order for tourist centers to be closer, Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic said during a ceremony to open the Gold Gondola on Mt. Zlatibor.

"In addition to the road to Pozega, which will be completed by the end of this year, the construction of a bypass around Zlatibor, a fast road to Uzice, with a branch towards Visegrad and Kotroman will receive assistance, to see how and in what way to bring Zlatibor closer to Belgrade, how to build a secondary gas pipeline...," said Vucic.

As he added, he came to congratulate everyone who participated in the construction of the gondola, noting that it took only one conversation to "convince" the mayor of Cajetina of the importance of the project.

"I am proud of this gondola and I will never say that it is bad and I don't care who got the idea, or who built it. We will invest in Zlatibor. We hope that we will have gondolas in other parts of Serbia, and I believe we will be able to have similar contents in Belgrade as well. I want to say that we will be with you, regardless of who is in power at what time," Vucic stated.

The panoramic gondola on Mt. Zlatibor, one of the largest investments in the municipality of Cajetina, has started working today. The gondola connects the center of Zlatibor and the mountain's highest peak, Tornik, over Ribnica Lake, in the length of 9 kilometers.
