Horror at Mt. Kozara ski resort: Man falls under a snowcat, doctors fighting to save his life
Banja Luka resident A.K. (28) was seriously injured on Tuesday night while skiing at the ski resort on Mt. Kozara, and his life is in danger, Srpskainfo has learned.
According to the portal, the young man was with his friends for night-time skiing on Tuesday, and the tragedy happened when their ski lift stopped.
"The young man was almost at the bottom of the ski run when the ski lift stopped working. He started to climb towards the top of the trail, and at that moment a snow groomer began to form the trail," a source explained for Srpskainfo.
The young man asked the driver of the machine to take him to the top of the trail, so he climbed the snowcat.
"As they were moving towards the top, the front part of the machine where the young man was sitting cracked and he fell under the snowcat's back rollers. He suffered very severe and life-threatening injuries. He is currently treated at the University-Clinical Center of the Serb Republic," the source told Srpskainfo.
